We will be having Kid's Night this Monday, 1/19!
Shippensburg schools are closed Monday for
Martin Luther King Day, but we will be having Kid's Night!
Membership Appreciation Night!
We will be holding our annual Membership Appreciation Night
on January 31, 2026. The event will start at 4 PM!
A Free meal
will be served at 5 PM!!!
There will be door prizes and small games of chance!
This event is for
MEMBERS ONLY!!!
You MAY NOT bring your spouse,
best friend, children, random hitchhikers,
or family pets!
(Unless they are members...)
(No, pets cannot become members.)
Indoor 22 Range Damage!
We have had some damage on the indoor 22 range.
There are fresh bullet holes above the target area, on the walls,
on the ceiling, in the heating ducts, and in the lights.
Targets are only to be placed on the
black hardboard section of the wall!
DO NOT PUT TARGETS ON THE BEIGE PART OF THE WALL!
The bullet stops do not go that high.

It is time to pay your 2026 dues
Dues for 2026 may be paid starting
November 1st, 2025 thru January 31st, 2026.
Dues for 2026 MUST be paid before February 1, 2026!
A list of members receiving free dues for 2026 for selling 30 tickets
or more for the Big June gun drawing is posted below.
You will not receive a paper dues notice in the mail.
Dues notices will only be sent out via email.
Please make your check in the amount of
$65.00
This is a $15 increase over previous years.
The Board of Directors debated this extensively and dues were raised
to cover the increased costs of day-to-day operations.

Your check for your dues may also placed in one of the drop boxes at the club.
Please put your dues check in an envelope with your full name on the envelope.
They can be paid by check at the regular monthly meetings.

membership appreciation night in January.

Range Maintenance
All outdoor firearms ranges will continue to be closed for maintenance on Mondays from Noon until dusk year round.

We have surveillance cameras on our property.
Knowing the date and time allows us to review the video footage from the cameras.
We have a new, automated phone system.
This system is programmed with the monthly events and or closings happening at the club.

RANGE CLOSINGS:
Trap Practice
Outdoor rifle and handgun ranges will be closed from 5 PM until 9 PM
every Monday night from January until November.
Well Maintenance
All ranges will be closed for well maintenance on June 3 rd from 2 PM until 4 PM
Range Maintenance
All outdoor firearms ranges will be closed for maintenance on Mondays from
Noon until dusk year round
Groundhog Shoots
The 200 to 800 yard ranges will be closed from 7 AM until 4 PM
for Groundhog Shoots on the following dates:
April 25, May 23, July 4, July 25, August 29, September 26, and October 24
Note: The short ranges, 25, 50, and 100 yards, will be open during the Groundhog Shoots.
June Drawing
All outdoor firearms ranges will be closed on
June 25 & 26 for set-up for the June Drawing
and June 27 for the June Drawing.
Nora Ross Clinic
Outdoor rifle and handgun ranges will be closed from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM
for an approved shooting clinic on May 29 and May 30.
Central Penn Winter Trap League
Outdoor rifle and handgun ranges will be closed from 7 AM until 3 PM for approved
Central Penn Winter Trap League shoots in 2026 on the following dates:
January 31, February 28, March 28, and April 11
Black Powder Cartridge Silhoette Match Prep
The outdoor rifle and handgun ranges will be closed from 7 AM until 12 Noon
on the day before the BPCR Matches to allow for preparations for the match.
The ranges will be closed from 7 AM until 12 noon on the following dates:
March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, August 14, September 18, October 16.
3-D Archery Shoots
The outdoor firearms ranges will be CLOSED
on Wednesday evenings at 4:00 PM
for 3-D Archery Shoots from June 4th until September 10th, 2025
